Because I feel a bit lost when my friends started talking about Jpop artist, I decided to start learning about Jpop bit by bit. This would be a very long journey for me to study all of the Jpop artist out there >.>
Below is some of the Jpop artist I learn this past week and what I like about them :)
1. Tegomass
--> I really like the duo. Their songs are very good and easy to listen to. Mahou no Melody, their latest single, might not be their best song (I love Kiss Kaerimichi no Love Song the most) but it's catchy.
My fave member here is Masuda Takahisa (who I think is so similar to Aiba-chan, in one way or another LOL)
2. V6
--> After 10 years or so, I just realized that they are the group who sing Inuyasha's famous op song, Change The World -___-'' I think this what makes me go and search all of their songs immediately. And I found a lot of shocking truth. They sang Take Me Higher, the theme song for Ultraman 3, Darling for Kimi wa Pet, and Feel Your Breeze for Gokusen. So okay, what did I do at that time that I miss this group? T.T
But their songs that stuck in my mind the most is Honey Beat (I'm curently listening to this song while writing this entry). I really love the meaning of the song.
My fave member of this group is Inohara Yoshihiko who I recognize from Arashi no Shukudaikun.
3. TOKIO
--> A band. In Johnny's. *is shocked beyond words* And the fact that I just know Kokubun Taichi-san is part of this group *is totally ashamed of herself*
My fave song for this group would be Sorafune. When I was watching Johnny's Countdown (full and not only Arashi part, the thing I usually do) they sang this song a lot and so it just stuck in my mind the most. Miageta Ryuusei, their theme song for Kokousei Restaurant is also good.
My fave member of this group is Kokubun Taichi.
4. SMAP
--> And so, Nakai-san is part of this group. And I don't know about that until now. Just shot me T.T
One of their song left the most impression in me, and that's Sekai ni Hitotsu dake no Hana. Listening to that song give me courage to be myself, that I'm fine the way I am. This song give me the same vibe as Fight Song.
My fave member of this group is Katori Shingo-san, because I do think he's the best in terms of vocal for this group.
5. Aqua Timez
--> I actually recognize this group for their song Velonica that was used in Bleach anime. I think the song is cool but I never try searching for their other songs. Only until I watch older Music Station (that has Arashi in it, but it's a full show) and Aqua Timez is also there singing Shiori, that I begin to like this group earnestly.
6. EXILE
--> Honestly I don't really know about this group. A group that has too much member never really make me excited in the first place. But when I hear their song in Kohaku (I don't remember the title, is it Rising Sun?) I think that I might start liking them. Still trying to learn about them bit by bit.
7. Yuzu
--> I find out about Yuzu in 2006 through their song Choutokkyu. I just never know that they're a duo. Their songs are all good and touched me in a way that make me shivers whenever I listen to their song. Now I know why Nino like them so much.
I'm still trying to learn about other Jpop groups but there are just too much of them >.> My laptop suffer from the lack of space for all the things I download. But at least I found 7 wonderful group that I can follow until I manage to clean up my HD and laptop from Arashi files XD
